Our Story

Will Hannam is co-founder of Woodlanders. He is an experienced woodsman with a passion for sustainable woodland management and the use of locally sourced materials.

With a strong background in woodland management, timber framing, furniture making & traditional carpentry. Will trained and worked with Woodsman Ben Law (Grand Designs - The Woodland House) and some of the builds featured were built in partnership with Ben.

Woodlanders aim to use timber from a woodland in the heart of beautiful Snowdonia, North Wales and we use long standing traditional methods to manage woodlands in a sustainable and environmentally sensitive way.

Our belief is that woodlands need to be managed in a way that is ecologically sustainable for the future. As part of that custodianship we provide courses to share our knowledge & skills.
