Our Story

Will Hannam is co-founder of Woodlanders. We are experienced woods folk with a passion for sustainable woodland management and the use of locally sourced materials.

We have a strong background in woodland management, timber framing, Permaculture, ethnobotany, garden design, furniture making & traditional carpentry. Will trained and worked with Woodsman Ben Law and some of the builds featured were built in partnership with Ben.

We use timber from the heart of beautiful Snowdonia, North Wales and we use long standing traditional methods to manage woodlands in a sustainable and environmentally sensitive way.

Our belief is that woodlands need to be managed in a way that is ecologically sustainable for the future. As part of that custodianship we provide a wide range of courses to share our knowledge & skills.
