How does it work?

We both firmly believe that the best way to learn new skills is to get hands on. Often this is very hard to do especially if you don't have previous experience. So thats where volunteering comes in!

A large part of our learning and training included years of volunteering with some of the brightest and best in the woodland world. Therefore we believe volunteering is a great way to gain relevant experience.

We are happy to speak to anyone who has a genuine passion for learning more about woodland life. As we are a working woodland we are very busy so life is very hands on.

We can offer plenty of space for camping (and will be building some sleeping pods soon) along with food and great company. We will always endeavour to make life interesting but we must be honest in that there are also plenty of less glamourous/exciting jobs to do as well.
